e-dubble- Fight For Days

e-dubble has so much talent, it's kind of envy-inducing. Everything he releases is amazing, including one his latest songs, "Fight for Days." This is definitely one of my favorite songs from him. Check it out for yourself below.

Chet Haze- Hollywood Music Video

So I don't know if any of you have heard about Chet Haze, an upcoming rapper who just so happens to be Tom Hanks' son. I know, weird right? Well he actually isn't that bad in my opinion. His new song is quite catchy, although it does get a bit repetitive after a while. I could definitely see him making a name for himself in the music industry though. Check out his newest single, "Hollywood," above.

DJ Bahler- Get Some Brain

This song sounds exactly like how I would imagine a Halloween to be. It features Designer Drugs, The Bloody Beetroots, Three 6 Mafia, Nine Inch Nails and some others. It really puts you in the spirit for Halloween. You can give it a listen and download it below if you want.

Young the Giant- Typhoon in the Open Session

Here's a great live performance from Young the Giant, performing their song "Typhoon." I'm not really sure where it's taking place, but the setting and lighting really help to set the tone for this song. I would love to see these guys in concert, the lead singer, Sameer Gadhia, has such a great, mesmerizing voice.

Ellie Goulding - Believe Me (WesBeanz remix)

Here's a cool dreamy techno remix of Ellie Goulding's song "Believe Me" made by Wesbeanz. I don't know much about Wesbeanz other than he's Canadian and made a great remix of this track. Give it a listen for yourself below.

DJ Bahler- One in the Hand [Soul Khan + The xx]

Here's a cool mashup from DJ Bahler. The song features vocals from Soul Khan and instrumentals from the XX, and the end result is pretty great.

According to his Facebook page the people that influenced him the most are The Hood Internet, E-603, Dylan Vasey, Passion Pit, Frail Limb Purity, The Legion of Doom, Party Ben, Girl Talk, and LOO & PLACIDO. I can definitely see how he's making a name for himself among that group of DJs.

Check it out below for yourself, and there's a download link for it below.

The Hood Internet - Don't Play No Trash (Beastie Boys x Santigold x Weird Tapes)

Here's an interesting mashup from the Hood Internet. It features vocals Santogold along with the Beastie Boys from their song "Don't Play No Games That I Can't Win." The instrumentals for the song are from Weird Tapes' song "Party Trash." It's got a cool techno-y feel to it, that I think you all should check out.

The Ting Tings- Hang It Up

The British duo, The Ting Tings, who are famous for their song "That's Not My Name" recently released this jam called "Hang It Up." This song has a bit more of a rocker feel to it then what you might be used to hearing from them, but it's still very catchy. Check out the music video for the song above, it's really cool and filled with energy.

Anyway, look out for their new album, which should be out soon.

Trombone Shorty - Do To Me (Star Slinger Remix)

Sorry it's been kind of inconsistent with posting lately, it's in the middle of midterms and there's been very little time to make posts. Anyway, here's a fun remix from British DJ Star Slinger for Trombone Shorty's song "Do To Me." It's a few days old, but I figured I would post it anyway since it's such an upbeat song. Give it a listen below.

Simone - Caminhando (Chuckie & Nico Hamuy Bootleg)

Here's a cool Portuguese jam which is a collaboration between Dj Chuckie and Argentinian dj Nico Hamuy. It starts out really slow with only one voice, but slowly starts to pick up the pace, and more people join in on the singing. By about 1:50 in the song turns into a cool samba-dance-electro hit. By the end of the song I guarantee you will be grooving. Turn up the volume give it a listen for yourself below.

Lykke Li - Unchained Melody (The Righteous Brothers Cover)

Here's a soothing song from Lykke Li which was released the other day. She cover's the 1955 song "Unchained Melody" by The Righteous Brothers. She puts her own spin on the song through her haunting voice. Check it out below.

Dean and Ravo- Windows Down

Sorry there haven't been posts for the past few days. We've been really busy with midterms and I had to crank out two papers within 24 hours.

Anyway, here's a new song from Dean and Ravo called Windows Down. You can download a low quality version of the song below, or just listen to a Youtube stream of it above. The song is really catchy and apparently it's going to be featured in the Hyundai Veloster Campaign, so look out for that.

Monarchy- You Don't Want to Dance With Me Vivien Remix

There's an Indian summer taking place over here, so it's sort of fitting that I post this remix of Monarchy's song "You Don't Want to Dance With Me." It's got such a summery feel to it, that it makes me want to rewind time back to this summer.

Here's an interesting fact about Monarchy: Their first live show was broadcast into space, making them the first music group to perform live into space. I don't really know why they did that... I guess to get some alien followers. That's pretty cool though.

You can listen to the original version of the song and the remix below.

Myomi VS Sandro Silva & Quintino - Sun In My Epic Eyes (Chuckie Respect to Steve Jobs Mash Up)

So here's an unusual tribute song to Steve Jobs by DJ Chuckie. It's kinda weird that I want to start dancing to this song, when Jobs' passing was such a sad event. I think Chuckie did a great job incorporating Jobs' speech into the song, it doesn't feel forced at all. The only issue I have is that I could never imagine this playing at a club because that would be a little weird. Anyway, give it a listen for yourself.

Feist - How Come You Never Go There (Hot Young Girls Naked Booty Remix)

So I happen to be a really big Feist fan, but I haven't had a chance to listen to her new album, Metals, which came out this past Tuesday. Here's a cool Hot Young Girls remix of her song "How Come You Never Go There." I'm pretty sure the original isn't this upbeat and probably doesn't have dubstep going on in it. Check out the song for yourself, and download it below.

SuperVision- Telescopic Mixtape

SuperVision aka Blake Hanson, is another signee under the Pretty Lights music label. He originally hailed from Fort Lauderdale, but he moved to Colorado in 2002, which is when he met Derek Vincent Smith and Michal Menert. He has the same chill sound that all of the members of the Pretty Lights label have. Anyway, SuperVision just released his new mixtape Telescopic, which you should download, turn up the volume, sit back and relax.

Rostam- Wood

Rostam Batmanglij, one fourth of the indie group Vampire Weekend, recently released his song "Wood." It's not so very different from normal Vampire Weekend songs, except it has an Asian twist. I love the end of the song when the sitar becomes more pronounced (I think it's a sitar anyway). Rostam does an excellent job blending the Western sounds with eastern instruments. Give it a listen for yourself, and you can download it below.

Hood Internet- Union Motivation

Just when I thought I was tired of hearing Kelly Rowland's song "Motivation," Hood Internet comes along and does this cool mashup with Little Dragon's song "Ritual Union." You can't exactly tell by listening to this song, but apparently Little Dragon is a Swedish group. The band sings a mixture of R&B, rock, electronica and pop. Check out the song below.

Klaypex- Let it Go

If you all haven't downloaded Klaypex's most recent EP Loose Dirt you should get on that immediately. Here's the latest release from the dubstep duo called "Let It Go." Unlike their EP this one isn't free, but it's definitely worth the $0.99. Check out the song below and you support the artists by buying this track.

Mac Graham- Midnight (Overwerk Remix)

Overwerk did a really sick remix of Mac Graham's song "Midnight." I have to confess that I've never actually heard the original version of this song, but I have no need after listening to this version. It's a got a cool electro-hip hop-dubstep beat that makes you want to start dancing immediately. Hit the download button below.
